Volunteer Ministry
Peace Hut is a 100% Volunteer Ministry. All of our help and support come from our volunteers, without them, the Peace Huts would not be able to serve the Church of Northern Colorado.
Peace Hut has been a gift from Christ to us, and we want to share His gift. As such, the Peace Huts is operated with in keeping with the Franciscan Ideals of Holy Poverty, we rely on the generosity of others to operate.
As such, Peace Hut needs help in the following areas
Retreat Volunteers
Retreat Directors
Help installing a pot-belly stove
Help re-roofing the huts
A Monstrance for Adoration
Help installing a fence
Help to curtail the erosion around the Huts
Repair work

Schedule a Retreat
To schedule time at the Peace Huts, you will need to do the following.
Reserve time at the Peace Huts by contacting David Tschumper at (303)-220-3388
You will need to provide proof of insurance
Be accompanied by a a Peace Hut Volunteer.
If you have not been through training for the Huts we will work with you to ensure that you are adequately supported during your retreat, however, we have a limitted number of volunteers, and a tremendous amount of retreats this year, so your retreat will be contingent on us finding support.
